With 24 players we had a good size tournament today with a variety of strengths (2x6 dan, 2x5 dan,...,20 kyu). For the first time we had players from Buffalo attending (6 participants and one observer), great! We wish them success in their recent application for the establishment of a Go-Center in Buffalo/Niagara Falls.
The proceeds of the $5 participation fee were given back as cash prizes in addition to prizes donated by Beate Wolf. As always, everyone obtained an artistic certificate, food and drinks were free. Thanks go to James Sedgwick for running the pairings.
